Come testare un caricatore di mantenimento
I caricatori di mantenimento vengono utilizzati per caricare in sicurezza batterie per autoveicoli e altre batterie. I caricatori hanno almeno un metro come parte dei controlli. I contatori possono indicare la quantità di ampere che fluisce dal caricabatterie nella batteria (amperometro) e la tensione fornita dalla batteria (voltmetro). Utilizzare questi misuratori per testare il caricatore di mantenimento.
Passo 1
Connect the trickle charger to the battery and monitor any gauges on the trickle charger. Look for identifying labels such as "Ammeter" and "Voltmeter."
Passo 2
Read the setting on the ammeter. There may be a gradated scale on the meter. This meter indicates that the trickle charger is sending power to the battery and that the trickle charger works. Indications such as "Charge" mean the trickle charger is sending low, safe amps to the battery. "Start" is found on combination trickle chargers/vehicle starters and indicates high amps are being sent. In any case, any movement in the ammeter needle from zero indicates the charger is working.
Guarda il voltmetro. Ti dirà quanti volt sono disponibili nella batteria. Il movimento di questo ago nel tempo indica che il caricatore di mantenimento sta eseguendo il suo lavoro. Ad esempio, se il voltmetro mostra 6v all'inizio della giornata e 12v alla fine, sai che si è verificata la carica. I voltmetri di solito funzionano sia che il caricatore sia acceso o spento.
